Overcoming objections!

 

If you are not able to overcome objections, then you are not able to sell exhibit space, or anything else really...

Overcoming the "Not in the Budget" objection.

I believe you should make a potential exhibitor say no at lest 3 times before the call is over.....

One way to overcome an objection is to validate it, then change the subject and ask them again:
"yes, I see, that makes sense I guess. Well....lemme ask you something else....Did you know your competitor is (or is not) in the show? Now that you know that, would you like to exhibit?

No? Well, I want to make sure you know who our sponsors are....did you know that Jimbo's Distributing Company is a major show sponsor? Do you sell to them or would you like to? Now that you know that, would you like to exhibit?

But the best way to overcome the objection is to deal with the issue straight on:  They do not think the show is worth it to them, so you will need to prove it.  See Best Way to Sell.
