Can an exhibitor get a discount for exhibiting in multiple shows?  Or can an exhibitor get a "first-timer" discount?  Or a "nice-guy" discount or ANY discount at all?

The only discount we offer is for multiple booths in a single show.  Sometimes someone might ask for a deal on more than one booth. Well, we have that already built into our pricing: 1st booth costs 795.00, two booths cost 1395.00, so that 2nd booth actually only costs 600.00? There is the discount.

No discounts are offered for signing up for multiple shows.

Exhibitors that ask for discounts need to be taken seriously and this objection must be handled effectively.

A good way to handle the question is to laugh it off..."nice try!  I wish I could help you out, but no one gets a discount, not even our best customers."

The price is the price.  Period.  Explain how people purchase gas for their car.  I doubt very much that someone would walk up to the cashier and ask:  "If I fill up 2 cars, can I get a discount?"  The answer is obvious.

DO NOT allow an exhibitor to think there is a chance. ..."Well, I dunno....lemme check on that"  HUGE mistake.  They will think right away there is a possibility and will hound you until they get it.
