How are the shows marketed to attendees?

 

There are MANY ways we market the shows to the attendees!  

1.  Direct mail.  Depending on the size of the market, we send 2 mailers to attendees.  The first is mailed 4 or 5 weeks prior to a show and is usually a 4 page color brochure that lists the sponsors, show time and date, seminars, registration form, etc.  The 2nd is usually a reminder postcard and is sent 7-10 days prior to the show.

2.  E-mail.  We send e-mail reminders to folks listed in our database beginning 2 months prior to the show.

3. Fax.  We send fax notifications (only with permission).

4. Telemarketing.  We contact by phone several thousand potential attendees prior to the show.

5. Coupons.  We ask the show exhibitors to invite their customers and potential customers to the show.  These coupons are no charge to the exhibitor and are worth a FREE Gift Bag to the first 200 attendees at the show.

6. Ads in trade publications such as Fresh Cup Magazine, Wholesale Source Magazine, Nightclub & Bar Magazine, etc.

7.  Promotions at the show.  We do several promotions at the show including the FREE Gift Bags, Prize Giveaway by Elvis, Live Music, iPod giveaway, Music Showcases, etc.
